Our sales team uses an email tracking tool through Hubspot to determine whether an email has been opened by the recipient or if a link has been clicked. It also allows us to log email into our CRM for record. This is done via an invisible one-pixel image that Hubspot embeds into the email.
It is important to note that the email tracking tool will not obtain or import any information regarding unknown recipients, who have been forwarded the original email, into the CRM database
